Opportunity —
Partners Card revenue has made it possible for The Family Place to provide services and programs to victims of family violence including emergency shelter, 24-hour crisis hotline, trained adult & children’s counselors, transitional housing, incest recovery, youth education, job & financial training, childcare & education, legal assistance, and community advocacy. Partners Card raised over $1 million and provided more than 14,000 nights of shelter for victims of family violence. It is time to propel Partners Card into the future of technology.

The Challenge —
With over a decade of fundraising for a great cause, The Family Place realized they needed to streamline their customer experience while supporting the participating retailers within the fundraiser. The natural fit was mobile.
Partners Card Mobile App
Partners Card is the signature fundraiser for The Family Place, the largest family violence agency in Texas, and a premier charity shopping & dining event in DFW.

Solution —
After a better understanding of The Family Place infrastructure, the UX, the design team produced a mobile app for iOS and Android that would allow users to not only purchase a Partners Card and easily find participating retailers but also allowed The Family Place to transition traditional “paper” cards into the mobile app while seamlessly requesting additional donations. After a second year, both the Android and iOS applications have allowed for increased purchases and donations.
